Maksym Krippa became the new owner of GSC Game World: what is known about him

The change of ownership of GSC Game World, known for Cossacks and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game series, was indeed a significant event that attracted public attention around the world. Maksym Krippa, who has already invested in GSC Game World in March 2023, became the new beneficiary of the company. This information was confirmed by Vitaliy Volochai, co-founder of Maincast Studios.

This is evidenced by the data of the Ukrainian online analytical system for business analytics YouControl.

The official confirmation from GSC Game World was provided by community manager Maxim Tkachenko. He stated that the change of the ultimate beneficiary and affiliated companies was officially recorded in the registers of Ukraine and the Czech Republic at the end of September. The details of the private equity agreement are hidden by NDA, which does not allow disclosing all the specifics of this transaction.

The ties between GSC Game World and investor Maksym Krippa are not new, because their cooperation began in 2020, but only now a change of ownership became official. It should be also noted that change of ownership will not lead to transformations in the company’s management: Serhii and Yevhenii Hryhorovychs continue to hold their positions, Yevhenii has the position of Executive Director.
