Ukrainian businessman Maksym Krippa spoke about the financial achievements of the esports organization NAVI, emphasizing its key role in developing this industry. According to him, the team’s revenues are measured in millions of dollars, confirming esports’ rapid growth as a promising business area.

In an interview with Forbes Ukraine, Krippa shared that NAVI demonstrates a steady increase in revenue and actively expands its team. A few years ago, the organization had only about three dozen players and employees; now, this figure exceeds 200 people. Such dynamic development is evidence of the effectiveness of the management strategy and significant interest from investors.

Today, NAVI remains the flagship of Ukrainian esports, representing the country at the world’s leading tournaments. Krippa emphasized that esports not only opens up new horizons for business but also helps promote a positive image of Ukraine worldwide. Thanks to initiatives such as NAVI, Ukraine is strengthening its position on the global stage, attracting the attention of audiences and partners from different countries.

Success formula of the leading Ukrainian esports organization

NAVI has long ceased to be just a Ukrainian esports team – it is now one of the best organizations in the world, consistently ranked in the top 5. Its popularity steadily grows, and the team’s matches regularly attract a vast audience. Over the past seven years, the time spent watching competitions with NAVI has exceeded 571 million hours, one of the record-breaking figures in esports.

Ukrainian businessman Maksym Krippa, its main investor and owner, played a key role in the establishment and development of NAVI. In 2018, when the organization was in a difficult financial situation, Krippa started active financing, providing the necessary resources for further growth. At that time, NAVI was unprofitable and needed about $1.5 million in subsidies annually.

However, the situation changed dramatically within a year as Krippa made the organization profitable. The biggest challenge for NAVI came with the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. At that time, the team decided to break off cooperation with Russian players. Maksym Krippa said this was a turning point that allowed the organization to move forward with renewed vigor.

The economic dimension of esports

Maksym Krippa considers esports one of the most promising sectors of modern business. According to him, the annual profit from esports projects is already estimated at millions of dollars, and these figures continue to grow. An increase in the audience by 30-40% annually indicates the rapid spread of interest in virtual competitions, which, according to Krippa’s forecasts, may equal the popularity of traditional sports in the coming years. He also emphasizes the generational change that creates demand for new entertainment formats among young people.

In addition to NAVI, Krippa owns Maincast, which organizes and broadcasts esports tournaments, generating a stable income. Despite significant financial success in this area, the businessman’s primary income comes from real estate investments, particularly in the UAE, where his properties demonstrate high profitability and stable value growth. Such diversification allows Krippa to succeed in various business areas, effectively combining his esports and real estate interests.
