Universal has released a trailer for Jurassic World Rebirth. The feature will be the seventh film in the 31-year-old film franchise. The upcoming Jurassic World Rebirth follows an expedition that braves the isolated equatorial regions to retrieve the DNA of three enormous prehistoric creatures for a groundbreaking medical breakthrough, reported by Variety.
Scarlett Johansson plays Zora Bennett, a covert operations expert hired to lead an expedition to retrieve the genetic material of three dinosaurs. The cast also includes Jonathan Bailey, Rupert Friend, Ed Skrein, Mahershala Ali, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Luna Blaze, Filippin Welge, David Iacono, Audrina Miranda, and Bechir Sylvain.
Steven Spielberg serves as executive producer
Bailey plays paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis; Ali plays Duncan Kincaid, Zora’s partner; and Friend plays Martin Krebs, a drug lord who funds the mission. Welge, Sylvain, and Skrein are said to play members of the team who report to Zora. The film is directed by Gareth Edwards from a screenplay by Michael Crichton and David Kopp.
The film is produced by Patrick Crowley and Frank Marshall. Steven Spielberg, who directed Jurassic Park and The Lost World: Jurassic Park, serves as executive producer along with Dennis L. Stewart. Spielberg previously served as executive producer on Jurassic Park III, Jurassic World, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and Jurassic World: Reign.

Universal: Distribution
John Matheson served as cinematographer on the film. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom was shot on location in Thailand, London, and California. Universal will distribute the film, which is scheduled for a July 2, 2025, theatrical release. The studio released a preview of the film back in August.
